  • Techno SURFACE has filed a patent application for a system consisting of sensors and associated device (wired and wireless), whose purpose is to warn that a certain coating has worn out and has reached a threshold of attention.

  • This type of wear sensors, similar to RFID, is already available for antiabrasive coatings for vibratory finishing tanks (mass metal finishing) and is in the process of perfecting for tire coatings of various types and other types of coatings, nets for screens, sheaths for diamond cables and submarine cables and many other similar applications.

The purpose of Techno SURFACE is to support its customers in choosing the correct system, depending on the type of surface elements to be surveyed, time and quantity. Specific software is designed to identify references of the required quality, to automatically compare with each subsequent detection and produce, consequently, green light or red light, including a detailed digital report or log. Interesting developments are made on 3D scanning and the possibility of using metrology, as a basic element to check the progress made with important projects or with ordinary production lines.
